Glass Spider

Green Terace, Sunderland

Photo of Glass SpiderSituated on two floors the Glass spider offers entertainment 7 nights a week downstairs and upstairs more of a restaurant style layout with a kitchen where you can everything that goes on!

The huge outdoor Glass conservatory upstairs and outside gives lovers the very chance to watch the stars. With drinks prices that would make your jaw drop the main attraction of this venue is the entertainment and late license. The general layout upstairs are swirls of eye catching wallpaper and more Victorian style seating, downstairs is more for you to rest while you're on the dance floor situated right in front of the DJ.

I am sorry if you have had a bad experience in the Glass Spider, this type of feedback is fresh and I am unaware of any night whereby the music was cutting off as you described. If you would like to e-mail me at gmwylamgroup@gmail.com to discuss this further and I can arrange to put you and your friends on the guest list to give it another go. I hope next time will be a better experience. Thank you for your feedback.

The spider would be perfect if the dj was qualified. The whole point in having a dj is to make people dance and keep dancing by mixing tunes so there isn't a gap in between each song so people want to stay on the dancefloor. Obviously people will stop dancing when they want a drink so why don't you get a dj that captures the crowd without confusing them by playing music that doesn't go together and stopping the track between each song which makes people stop dancing.
