7even brings to Sunderland a slighlty more contemporary style, dark varnish wood finish and low moody lighting. 7even is small and could seem to be for people who don't want the hustle and bustle of busy clubs. A good mixture of music caters for all ages although don't expect anything too cheap!

We went in here on Sunday and had a great night. Our first time in Sunderland for ten years and we stumbled upon this gem, we ended up staying for a few hours because the atmopshere was amazing. The music was top drawer, everyhting from Kasabian to New Order to Bassment Jax to Rolling Stones, next time we're back in Sunderland we'll be back.. thanks

I agree to some extent mate, its a shame Sunderland hasnt got a more varied scene but to be honest this place was dead until they made it an indie bar so fair play to them. I agree that Pure shouldnt be playing indie on a Sat night too tho. That place never sems packed like it used to be on a Sat when it played house & disco. Looks like Seven has taken the indie crowd its now trying to have.
